Meet Sandy Miller, Owner and President of Colorado Network Staffing

CNS is proud to be a Colorado woman-owned staffing agency

Westminster, CO — Colorado Network Staffing (CNS), a staffing services provider specializing in recruitment, payroll, HR management, and project management, is thrilled to announce the transfer of business ownership to Sandra Miller on September 1st, 2020.

Sandy joined Colorado Network Staffing when it opened its doors in December of 1996 as an Accounting Relations Manager. From there, she ascended upward, becoming Vice President in 2014 and then elected President in August of 2019. Now, as 100% owner of CNS, she maintains her President title and active role as head of the business.

How does she do it? By staying adaptable. “Being agile, open to change, new systems and methods has contributed to CNS’s stability and endurance to successfully maneuver two recessions and currently navigate the ‘Great Resignation’ that the pandemic has prompted,” says Sandy.

Sandy Miller, Owner and President

A business-forward Denverite

Having graduated from the Metropolitan State University of Denver with a B.S. in Accounting, Sandy’s career has progressed into organizational leadership with a strong background in finance and business goals. She’s lived and worked in Westminster and the greater Denver area her entire life, giving her a strong grasp in the Front Range’s employment economy, its distinct needs, and its real opportunities.

Committed to ongoing education and professional growth, Sandy completed SCA (Service Contract Act) training on labor laws and regulations in 2012. She became licensed as a Certified Staffing Professional through the American Staffing Association in January 2016.

Maintaining the woman-owned distinction

In 2001, CNS obtained SBA 8(a) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certifications, and CNS has maintained Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) certifications.

With Sandy at the helm as the majority owner, CNS maintains its woman-owned certification through the SBA, as well as its affiliation with Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

An agency built on long-term relationships

Having been a part of CNS since its inception, Sandy has played a formative role in its values and style. CNS is built on relentless customer focus, the power to attract and support the best people, and the basic principle of “do the right thing.” This has fueled the agency’s long-term relationships with employers in both the public and private sectors. She is sure to continue to build on this foundation as President and owner.

CNS has always focused on building attentive enduring relationships with clients, employees, and candidates. “Creating connectivity through relationships has been the foundation of our service and treating each relationship as a priority,” says Sandy of their approach.

“The primary trend during the late 90’s was fiber optics, cabling and networking, bringing computer networks into the workplace, etc.. Hence the name, Colorado Network Staffing, Inc.,” recalls Sandy. “Our name, even though it hasn’t changed, means something more. I believe the word “Network” means connectivity through relationships.”
